I have had the PC into PC World under warranty, they carry out warranty work for PB under licence, they said that the bios is corrupted due to bogus software I installed and under the terms of the warranty. The pc is under warranty, Due to a lack of concentration I accidentally and very stupidly installed a virus that was disguised as a Packard Bell Bios upgrade ( it was very convincing), I always check these things out by checking with a website to cross reference first but on this occasion I slipped up and the PC is bricked as they say.
